In this role, you will apply your knowledge of chemical processes, fuel value chains, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, sustainability criteria and certification while helping shape practical solutions in the regulated European market.
Your main duties will be:
- Consult on projects with a focus on renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBOs), recycled carbon fuels (RCFs) and the further development of related methodologies
- Take responsibility for the full project lifecycle, including project planning, stakeholder management, documentation, controlling, and participation in client meetings and project workshops
- Partly lead and support the further development of the ISCC EU certification scheme for RFNBOs and RCFs
- Partly lead and support the integration of further regulatory developments under ISCC EU, such as low-carbon fuels, including the development of new system documents and audit procedures, where applicable
- Serve as the primary point of contact within the team for chemical and technical expertise related to hydrogen and sustainable fuel processing
- Implement concepts and processes together with MCS customers and support their practical application
- Support the further development of the MCS service portfolio, manage proposals and tenders, and explore new markets and service offerings
- Represent MCS at national and international events and conferences, give company presentations, and build your own network of customers and industry contacts
- Develop customized GHG calculations for entire supply chains, applying different tools and standards to ensure consistent and technically sound results
- Carry out data research, analysis and evaluations for specific customer requests, and prepare reports and market studies
